a dear friend asked me,
“what are you afraid of?”
i didnt answer to him.
i kept thinking
and thinking
and thinking
until i hurt my head
but still got no answer
“i dont know. death?”
and he quickly replied,
“everyone is afraid of death. but death is not something you can run from. you will die anyway whether you’re ready or not.”
i sighed.
“you’re right.”
“i am. tell me what is it”
my head was spinning while looking for the answer.
i looked through my family and friends photos
and i simply said,
“i’m afraid of losing the people that i love most. i’m afraid of them walking away from me.”
